For sure - nobody as bad as Nads, Johnson, Mogg, Truss, and Hancock. Talentless and shameless.

I think Nads, Boris, Mogg and Hancock are amongst the worst we’ve seen in many years.

Difficult to judge them as they have not had power. Starmer is badging Labour as a unionist party as a priority. Keen not to be outflanked by the Tory brexit flag shaggers. His real priorities should be with paying working people a fair wage. Dont know much about the other two. Are they any good ?

I mean Starmer to me is a bit of Tory lite he's aimed to be centrist but has landed a little to the right. Constantly going down his patriotism, UK and proud route. Don't know much about Reeves or Streeting to be fair, but I'd guess they are Starmer lapdog types from your question.

| Widow Krankie resigning? on 08:38 - Feb 16 with 1214 views | JACKMANANDBOY | So the media outlet that continually supported Sturgeon now says she failed in public policy and has underperformed in this respect for years! Vote for Nicola, vote for Scotland, vote for Freedom..uh oh she's made a right mess. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/ | |

It’s probably worth looking up Reeves and Streeting - it’s likely they are the future.

Worth looking up in a good or bad way haha On assumption it would be that they are in a Starmer mould centre to centre right. It's the only way Labour every get elected really as the UK on a whole is a pretty conservative nation with centre to centre right majority.

These days it depends on the individual what politician is. IMO both those are just to left of centre but I’m sure others will disagree. What they are is talented. I hope we get to see what they can do.

Read the CVs of MPs. Many are career politicians and many others with no strategic management experience. A lot say they have had senior positions without being specific, in other words junior positions. Before you vote take a bit of time to understand who you may be voting for.

I’d say you have to be careful the other way too - MP with background in an industry votes in support of that industry before taking a directorship in that industry. In regard to Reeves and Streeting I like their upbringing and their voting record. I think they’ll do well.

It's about having someone you feel confident you can vote for to run a country not about any specific experience in any sector. I'm not saying one way or another, before employing anyone I'd check that they had some expertise. There are MPs who have a good track record of managing strategic complexity successfully internationally over many years and others who have only had administrative roles in their political party for a short time before being put into a safe seat. I get what your saying but unfortunately it’s not the voters who get the final say. I give you Chris Grayling!

A man with a limited career in TV, you would not vote for him as a capable and competent person to make complex decisions on behalf of a nation based on his experience and know how. There are some really 'poor hires' in all parties.

A lot of them are parachuted in because of pure and naked nepotism. Sturgeon for example is married to the CEO of the SNP. Much easier to get the top jobs when you’re banging the bloke in charge. Angela Rayner was married to one of the top union officials before she buggered off with yet another bloke so that’s why she’s there. Then you have Stephen Kinnock, Hilary Benn, numerous other sons and daughters of ex MP’s. All of Churchills grandkids are in there seemingly. The entire Johnson family. Rees Mogg son of newspaper baron the other Rees Mogg. The list goes on and on and on and on. It’s pretty much a closed shop. The “ordinary person” could never get anywhere near selection.

You’re not wrong. Unfortunately, quite a few of the politicians have come from privileged backgrounds and they don’t really understand what life is like for the majority of the country, they live in their own bubbles and are surrounded by the same type of people and sycophants.
