Lissah is clearly a class act with a big future
He’s our next hot property
We need to nurture him
IMO , he is by far a more solid defender than the present incumbent at RB
I would play him RB tomorrow and bring on Seelt to look after Moore, derided by some but we know deep down he’s very dangerous
Fair to say this fixture looks big |
I will be honest I have never seen Seelt play, well not that I can remember anyway apart from a couple of minutes. So I don't think I can enter an intelligent opinion on as to whether he is a better option to counter Moore. [Post edited 4 Sep 11:06]

I’m expressing my opinion in a similar way you do with Stamenic. You’ll have your reasons, I don’t agree but I don’t see any need to make snide comments towards you. I’ve laid out my reasons why. There’s no malice or hate, quite the opposite. I want him to do well but my opinion is that he’s not up to it. Doesn’t need vitriolic replies, just discussion.
He used to leave the winger too much room. He’s cut that out to an extent now but he was robbed on one occasion on Tuesday night far too easily. He's not bad, he’s just not good enough going forward. I feel a lot more confident with Lissah there but that leaves a vacancy at CH which may be an issue. I’m not Cabango’s greatest fan and know very little about Seelt.

I don't particularly like Stamenic in that DM role expected Eustaquio to play it, yes they did swap roles at times and so did Fulton previously when they played together with Fulton being the main DM. Did we sit back a little in that second half to protect that 2 goal lead, yes and I expected Fulton to come on and push a little further forward than Stamenic but that wasn't the case presume Matos had his ideas as to what style of play is needed and playing time for players who starts who needs a rest, both Eom and Opoku looked spent, a case of subs made to keep us fresh with players to keep a threat up top while keeping us defensively solid as Watford pushed forward. Horses for courses or plans B+C at this time with the heavy fixtures we need a quality in the squad, have some players got different qualities or skill that are needed and weaknesses that could be exploited, right balance within the team at the right time off the games. | | | |

For a lot of them it's because they spent so much previous time doing it they almost have to reprogramme their brains to think otherwise.
You see it all the time with Fulton. As impressive as his performances are, it will only take one average one before they're all off slagging him off again, or pretending that it's only recently he's been playing well despite his about 300 games for the club. It's almost a reflex action.
Vague hints of it coming through with Vipotnik as well. People turning on him really quickly. I'll be expecting a Jack247 comeback if he goes another game or two without a goal. |

I thought Tymon was a poor replacement for Manning and Ronald was a game changer when they first got here.
As for Vipotnik, he seems to be suffering the same problem as Idah did last season, he can’t get a decent run and get fully match sharp because the guy in front of him is pretty much undroppable.
He still doesn’t look anything like the player he was two years ago, he’s making clever runs, linking play, getting chances. A little rusty maybe, but other than that, I don’t see much difference to last season. I’m sure the goals will come. | | | |

This will be our toughest test to date. At the start of the season most would be surprised at us bagging 10 pts for 4 games. We are a joy to watch at the moment.

If we can maintain the levels we saw in the first 20 minutes or so on Tuesday for longer periods against Wrexham there's not a Goddamn thing that 34 year old Kieffer Moore will be able to do about it, no matter who our centre halves are.
We need to worry more about playing to our strengths than adjusting things to accommodate the opposition. Keep Wrexham pinned back and they can lump the ball up to their isolated beanpole as much as they want. Cardiff tried it here once and we still tanked them. |
I'm going with this. I know Moores height could be a problem but only if we fail to stop the supply.
On the other hand Lissah and Welsh look good together, both can play and both can pass too. Welsh played a brilliant ball that Opoku should have scored from and he was in their third of the pitch too. Both of them are confident and very mobile, I think it suits our play. If it becomes a problem put 6'3 Seelt on. I've read he's dominant in the air and can also play a bit.
