He is at a club with some really good midfield players and im surprised with that he has made that many appearances
He is a solid pro who i think is here because of his experience in the PL and will put pressure on the other midfielders
Lets give him a chance please as im sure he will try his best

King is a solid enough player. Reliable and experienced cover. I don't think he will let us down, though equally unlikely to pull up any trees. We simply need to keep going as we are. King is a bit more robust than Carroll as an option. Ayew adds an attacking option which is far better covered now with Clucas playing where he is suited. Right for Oli Mc and Fulton to go out on loan. Shame neither Baston or Mesa worked out, but that is now the past and time to move on. We are very much masters of our own destiny and have momentum now which WBA, Soton, Stoke, Hudds, Newcastle and Watford would all love. It will be a real battle and thankfully no one key to this has gone and we have at least 2 more players likely to be in a match day squad. | | | |

A pauper's Joe Allen, very much second string for Leicester and Wales but I can see him fitting into the style of play of the last two games. Is it an inspiring signing, hell no, will he keep Fer and Ki looking over their shoulders and not getting complacent, hell yes.

Complacency is always a worry with Fer. So if he gets into that trap, King will take his place. I'd say they're both the same kind of level, just that Fer has a tendancy for being lazy. Is he an improvement on Cork, on current form definately not. But no one was sad to see Cork go, and if you compare King with the Cork of last season, I'd say they're roughly comparable, with King slightly more up for the fight. You know you'll always get 100% from King, for Wales, for Leicester and it'll be no different here. | | | |

To be honest, I'm getting a bit sick of this 'Premier League player' thing. Unless they are a star of football, they aren't of any use.
The bottom 10-12 teams in the Premier League are full of (what people on here would call) 'Championship level players'. We simply can't compete with the top 6 financially, to get the highest calibre of player in. We're in the same position as half of the league...a squad full of 'championship players', with a handful of players who could be labelled 'Premier League players'. |  |

We're short of Premier League players. We've sold all of them.
Every club has "Championship-level" players. Fergie's United had a few while they were winning titles. The problem is when you have too many of them you end up getting relegated.
