Theres nothing as thin skinned as a Welsh Nat determined to be outraged.
The same people are still whining about the jokey remark made by Anne Robinson years ago on room 101 ignoring the fact that she actually complimented the Welsh in the programme.
These people are an embarrassment to Wales.
They need to get a sense of humour...and a life.

Not wanting to generalise, but I am, we Welsh tend to be very touchy when it comes to self deprecation unlike the Scots , Connolly , Nesbitt, Fulton, Bridges the list goes on.

Oh I don’t know. There’s a Kipper reading a made up story about immigrants...

Storm in a teacup. But this is the modern era, you have to be so careful as even if it's obvious you are trying to have a laugh , there is always someone who wants to trip you up. Normally it's resentment because they aren't as witty.

Actually the one thing it wasn’t was witty.
It was rather lazy. And silly. As Mars will now take a while to recover sales.
I don’t get remotely offended by such things, but I do think the Welsh are seen as an easy target in a way the Scots (for example) wouldn’t be. Or the Irish. It’s a symptom of the way we’re seen in general.
We really need to start making a bit more noise.

Really? The Scots being stereotyped as being as being tight, and the Irish as being thick.
I'm as proud a Welshman as the next, sent both my children to be educated in Welsh medium schools, but come on, a joke is a joke, whether "we" find it funny or not.
I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.
Oh bloody hell!! We've had "boyo" , "sheep shaggers" , thrown at us for years. If that's going to wind you up after the abuse we can give then it's time to go back to the caves. This is a football forum and it amazes me how sensitive we are.....do some on here actually go to games or played in a team?

All us Welshmen can sit back and observe this casually racist abuse from English men knowing full well that at any time their female counterparts are absolutely fascinated by us.

As I said, I wasn’t remotely offended.
You’d be hard pushed to see a brand doing that about the Scots these days though. It’s not a comedian doing it, it’s a brand.

It's up there with classic Blackadder.

Christ knows how many English women I've knobbed.
Bang on. We pay them more attention. They even admit we are kinder and more considerate. They love the accent, especially yn y ystafell gwely
