Well yet again we were let down by our side and in particular Ash Williams. Saying this that doesn't give us a reason not to get behind the team and play our part. I was at the game on the weekend and I regularly travel to watch the Swans but the fans are slowly getting less and less passionate. The expectation that we are better than we actually are seems to be the chip on many of the fans shoulders. I am not sure that it is the increase of new fans but if that's the case we still have a hardcore following of away supporters and you lot should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. People seem to forget that the whole successful Swansea era was built on passion and determination. We never had world beaters in our team but everyone played for each other and gave 110%. This includes the fans creating the atmosphere which made the Liberty a fortress and the praise we had for our fantastic support from numerous away fans. Our Promotion season and the first season we went up is really the last time we actually stood as one of the best supporters in the football leagues, each season from there is has got progressively worse. Yes, I understand the team are not performing and we have seriously been a victim of the riches of the prem league by bringing in journey men looking for a pay day with no balls, or mental steel but come on!!! Leicester fans were exceptional and not once did we really give them some banter back or just have a laugh, Jesus why even bother going to the game? Honestly though Swansea Fans we give the whole story of the Swansea way disappearing etc, have a serious look at yourselves and get behind the team. |  |

I come from an era that was only 4 when we got to Div One, my earliest memories are of a club that was about to go bust, they were desperate times circa 1985.
What annoys me now is that I believe that some players, some fans and pundits alike think the PL isnt all that, just make sure you are 12 -14th around Feb and you should be ok.
That's a lack of pride and ambition especially with the wages the pro footballers are on and the money we as fans fork out.
In all it's been a very frustrating season as I think clearly we have underachieved and have been let down by many of the squad, some havent given 100% that is for sure.
I mentioned about a month ago, we didint realise in 2013 how good we were, maybe we still think we are as good or thought we would improve to top 6 standard. [Post edited 26 Apr 2016 9:59]

If we'd have gone all out at Leicester and lost, I would have stood up and applauded the Swans. He should have played a front three of Barrow, Paloschi and Montero from the start, give 'em something to think about.

I do agree with some of your points but not even from the off did we really get behind the team. We all have views on who should start etc but when Paloschi and Montero came on they did really add anything.
End of the day you can slate the players but rather than stood there with your arms folded get behind the lads | |

Leicester fans were exceptional because they have an exceptional team. They have a team that I wish my team were. Fans are not mugs they know shite when they see it and its unrealistic to expect them to clap like performing seals when they have dross presented to them. Look at Villa fans or Newcastle fans up until a month ago. Fans react lie that because they are passionate and they care.

Think you have missed the point. In terms of the Liberty being a fortress we had a very good home record in our first season in the prem and the atmosphere was fantastic.
Honestly some of the comments I don't know why you bother supporting the jacks. Surely win or lose you should be behind the team. Granted we are playing some terrible football but if your support is not there just stay at home.
In recent times like I said its gone quieter every season, even when we were losing we would be singing our hearts out!! turning out like the fickle national team fans and only having one chant!! totally embarrassment for fans | |

We have been slow, pedestrian, wing less, no real urgency, no purpose or direction, lack of pace and energy. The complete opposite of Leicester. I bet we have lost a decent percentage of our fan base this season, just on our boring football. When you are paying £35-£45 a ticket per game, you want to be entertained. |  |

And blamed Swansea for selling tickets to them, I said how can you do that when they are bought online, he didn't answer, I said to him well if something happens to them on his head be it.

Spoke to the head steward there at half time, was a bit sh*tty with him to be honest. His reply was "we are trying our best your ticket office have sold to anybody". How are our ticket office sending away tickets to fans willy nilly, to what I assume would be Leicester postcodes or thereabouts. It's a shambles to be honest.
There was hell of a lot in there, atmosphere was poor in our end but the noise from the Leicester fans was very impressive to be honest, the way our players rolled over there was literally nothing to sing about.
My first away game was Rushden and Diamonds a few seasons before the great escape if I remember correctly, 4-0 down doing the conga in the away end. Times have changed. |  | | |
