£1.7M to Lineker is obscene for s public service broadcaster. The BBC should support emerging broadcasting talent. Agree with means testing for things like this and the winter fuel allowance but the old age pension is not a great deal to live on so the means testing has to be appropriate. |  |

I like the idea but what about BBC radio?
You can take down the FM and DAB and have internet only but can you imagine the chaos for Car drivers and the like?
The licence fee is a farce though, aren't they launching a UKTV Netflix type thing with all the repeats from BBC and ITV? That's more than half the current TV schedule! |  |
