Please, please, please whatever your views are ,can we all just show a bit of respect and not boo the British national anthem (not English) ,and also respect the minutes silence or whatever tribute we pay to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11. It won't only be yourself but you will also let the good name of Swansea City football club down if you don't.

You can always count on a moron or two, sadly. But yes, respect the tribute, maybe we should sing Calon Lan after as our own tribute, I'm sure the Queen didn't ask for her wealth and wanted a happy heart!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Personally I believe a minutes silence followed by a Welsh hymn would be a fitting tribute.

Plus it would save the embarrassment of the national anthem being booed.

Now that is a brilliant idea.

Calon Lân, Myfwanwy, or even The Old Rugged Cross, my favourite hymn or Abide With Me ?

Noble sentiments and ones that I and the majority will agree with but looking at Social media comments it seems enough will use tomorrow for their own agendas and as Welsh Club playing against and English one I'm pretty sure media will be there to note the response should GSTK be sung .Myself I'm dreading the moment but maybe it should a minutes applause , not want I want to mark the occasion but that's got to be better than listening to cat calls etc , how sad that as a society we've had to come to this.

Question is …..why do people feel like doing this is the right thing to do despite wall to wall north korean style media coverage.

Why ?

Dont shout them down or bury your head in the sand. Ask yourself why ?

Perhaps this does not help ?

I can't stand the way opposing fans taunt us with GSTQ/K, but tonight is not the time for a reaction.

We must show respect, even if it's only for the sake of our club and nation.

My view is this:

GSTK IS the British national anthem. This is not debatable. It is NOT the English national anthem.

Wales is an integral part of the United Kingdom. Again, fact never mind that a MINORITY of people think saying otherwise will make it so.

By NOT playing the British national anthem in a part of Britain (again, fact!) is tantamount to a submissive acknowledgment that the minority are trumping the majority. And that’s a dangerous slippery slope.

I’ve personally paid my respects, now I’m getting on with my life. I reflected for about a minute, have empathy for her immediate family. Understand why some people are upset but I’m just getting on with my life now. I won’t watch the mainstream tv or listen to downbeat music. Will observe whatever the club does but after that I’m done with it all.

I haven't watched any TV since just before she died, not one minute, I've seen some things on the net but no TV or radio, I've managed to avoid nearly all of it

The Queen of Great Britain and Wales is a part of Great Britain.
That simple

We boo and we will be pilloried all over football

Liverpool play tonight and the same will happen when they boo the Anthem and they will.

It's perverse class hatred and its pitiful. Many many poor people respected the Queen .The wealthy always think its weird the Plebs respect the Queen.

I’ve heard there will be a minute’s applause instead of silence. GSTK still going ahead though as far as I know.

Enormous respect shown worldwide to death of the Queen.
Swansea City have built a huge reputation around the world.
Would be tragic if our reputation got tarnished in anyway.
Sincerely hope and pray that everyone puts personal views to one side for a few minutes tonight and display respect.

The frustrating thing is people will feel they are booing the English national anthem, which to all sporting intents and purposes it is, or the monarchy in general.

It was pretty hard to dislike the Queen as an individual. Some of the things GSTK represents will get under peoples skin though and while I absolutely don’t condone it, I do understand it.

That’s not how it will look to people from outside Wales though.

Best course of action for those opposed to paying tribute to the Queen and GSTQ/K is to either stay on the concourse or sit in protest.

Strange we've had to endure months and months of players taking the knee is support of a death in the US ( and no I'm not condoning it but I neither clapped nor booed either ) but for one minutes silence and the singing of an anthem has raised the hackles of some to fever pitch
