I thought they were sloppy, but weirdly I never doubted we'd win.

I'd put them to bed tonight, and not wake them until Monday!

Poll: Who should do the Birmingham Frederick?

Where did the Mexico spirit go? A wins a win but this was like a dental appointment. Honest, I hope the next oppo is Switzerland, an Argentina game has mental murder written all over it.

Poll: Thank God The Seaons Over.

England can beat Argentina or Spain. France, not so sure.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

England with Tuchel. I had real worries early in the tournament but Tuchel has instilled that old German mentaility of winning regardless of how you play and belief you can win. Bellingham truly World Class 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

Love that Tuchel says he's not happy with the performance. He knows we have to play better to get further. I like that.

I thought we were too negative at times, more crosses, more shots on goal rather than playing it across the pitch.

Rogers shot wasn't great but look at what it achieved.

Would love it if Switzerland took Argentina to extra time.

Fitness and fatigue are my first concerns but I think we could beat Argentina with an attacking approach and good substitutions.

Tuchel with a touch of the Alex Fergusons there after Aberdeen won a Scottish Cup and he called it a disgraceful performance.

Poll: How many more points will we get this season?

I'm happy with the result but, again, Eze isn't an England player. I don't know how he's getting these minutes.

Eb's is still a novice really at International level but you should not write him off completely.

Wrong substitution from Tuchel tonight in my opinion.

Absolutely hilarious to see Tuchel basically telling off the post match interview for suggesting they lacked mentality.

Agree on Eze, part of the charm that he takes everything so easily/casually doesn’t seem to gel internationally.

I like that Tuchel is not happy with the performance. We were poor.

Cannot fault the effort as always.

But we find a way.

Thank god we won
Means we don’t have to look at Haarlands dad anymore
I’ve seen more of him than my own

The downside is that we’ll see more of Beckham and his dopey kids.

My tenner is still safe. A poor effort by both teams - too much at stake I guess. Some strange substitutions by Tuchel. Eze not the worst of them imo. Main thing is England are through - I’ll find out who against when I wake up

We were a bit shíte and got away with it tonight especially with their disallowed goal, but fck it we won. Felt bad for their keeper at the end though.

Had to laugh at them trying to disallow a goal because it brushed a camera wire, since when is that a rule?

My cap is doffed….. gone further than I expected

One thing I don’t get is the James for Rice sub.
What’s the point of Mainoo?

We really looked like Mexico took a lot out of us but, tremendous spirit and grit.

As I left the boozer one of my mates sons asked me if it was all on for us to win it “…. I said maybe…..”

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Agree with what Dixon said, was trying to get in front of the defender. Not clear and obvious.

Ha ha Is this a new law that been bought in. You can go where you want with the ball. You're taught to cut across so the defender can't get the ball!!!

Eze was doing what he does drifting in areas and getting open.

A few times it looked like some England players, Kane just one, chose not to pass to him.

Feel conflicted watching England. Dull and dreary, backwards and sideways. I started wanting Norway to win when they won’t even attempt a forward pass. Madueke pointless.

Tuchel's response is perfect. Too often you see nothing but praise when the result goes a team's way. He's trying to set higher standards and I'm here for it!

That was delightful.

As someone else said, that was hard work but I always felt we'd win.

Here's a take: Mexico and Norway will be harder to play than Argentina. Norway especially have more quality across the board.

That was a pen all day long. This thing that he put his leg in front of the defender is a joke. He was shielding the ball. He got in front of the defender and gets kneed in the back of his leg. Defender all over him. If he was running into the box, one on one with the keeper, and he defender done that tackle from behind he'd be sent off.
