| Manchester United - Comedy show that keeps on giving 19:20 - Aug 7 with 14963 views | numptydumpty | To be honest, in ferguson days I did totally.admire how well this club was run from the very top and their constant and continued success over two decades was something to be admired and revered. Today they are a basket case of a club. Great start to their season, home defeat to the mighty seagulls. But they just want dig that hole even more. See they have bid for Marko Arnautovic but currently the bid has been rejected 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣. City fans get Haaland. It's been an abysmal decline. Please let this continue. On darker days this strange phenomenon that is United gets sadder and sadder still. My many many acquaintances around us in the heart of London and the home counties known as Cockney Reds, my heart bleeds. Love it. Come on United. You have it in you to accelerate this comical decline. Can we have you in a relegation battle. Perhaps you need bring back the Charlton brothers !!!! | |

I think the PL would find a way of getting Howard Webb back before it got too late.

I watched the second half and that ref was bad.Maguire amd McTominey should have walked and that penalty Brighton did not get was just poor .How did VAR check it and not see an elbow between the shoulder blades instead of shoulder to shoulder. Even the Utd goal was suspicious and did anybody see Ronaldo throw himself to the ground and wave his arms around .For a world class player he is a bit of a wan*er

For sure. Currently on a family holiday in Majorca and funnily enough said to my daughter a couple of days ago, have you noticed absolutely no United shirts? It's ALL City and Liverpool. Good to know the glory hunting follow the herd mentality is stil operational.

Know so many who have seamlessly slid across from United (and Arsenal) to Brentford, I get the 6 season tickets for the family, auntie etc as a day out but it's the full kit wangers I can't get my head around and full denial of their former life-long support of another club. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Why Dave? Didn't you remember the thrashing Brighton gave them last season? All this shite that on paper United have better players. They don't! United have very few that are better than an average Premier player. That might be true of Brighton as well, but add in teamwork & that these players are improving at a higher rate than United players are regressing. What did surprise me though was how good Danny Welbeck played.

one of my best mates from Uni was a Spurs fan, loved them and had a picture of Teddy Sherringham up in his room which his misses made him take down. DIdn't see him for a few years after Uni then met him by chance on the way to Arsenal away in 2012, he was wearing an Arsenal shirt. I was Baffled by it he said he got fed up of Spurs and loved watching Arsenal so switched teams. He's never lived that down though that he switched teams after the invicible season and Arsenal have been pretty crap ever since whilst Spurs now finish above them.

In reality, they have never owned a ball of either shape, played, coached or even attended a game of either code. "Soccer's not as good as it was", they say. "You mean your team's not as good as it was", I always say. Fúck 'em, I wouldn't give them an inch. They'd still be "supporting" them if they were winning. I hate turncoats.

| Manchester United - Comedy show that keeps on giving on 11:49 - Aug 8 with 2173 views | wood_hoop | Was in Madrid for a long weekend a few years back, during the close season, decided to go have a look at the Bernabeu Stadium, my boy was wearing his Hoops top, done the tour and was down behind the dugouts in the stand taking pictures of my son, a security guard stopping any of the tourists going on the pitch , was talking to my wife asking what team the colour's of my son's team were ? He liked it we supported a little ol team from West London, and especially we were not Man Utd who he told us he detested, next thing he invited us to come out of the stand and take pictures of my son sitting in the dugout ! Got some great shots of my son and thanked the security guy for his kindness, so maybe have a R,rrs fan in Madrid who has us as is 'second team' but showing just how disliked Utd are besides here. | | | |

Having so catastrophically managed the departure of SMB, you'd think with 20 years lead-in-time to SAF's departure, they'd have got their siht together. But no, and it's brilliant! As a former resident of Manchester in the mid-90s to mid-00s, I'm truly loving it because their gobby got fans will be angst ridden. Now they've got players brought in by a range of managers, some of whom I bet are desperate to leave. This is shaping up to be their Scouser wilderness years so enjoy it for one day they'll be back and will be insufferable all over again.

It's funny how much 'respect' I get for being a QPR fan. People genuinely can't understand why I would support a 'shite' team, ' they are not even IN the Prem you know', when I could be following United (in Ferguson's time) or City or Liverpool. When I give my stock reply that 'it's all Stan Bowles fault', most of them unsurprisingly have no idea what I am talking about .

I used to go to a gym in a hotel which housed lots of Irish fans coming over to watch a game at OT. One time I go into the sauna and this Dubliner is in there bending the ear of this other guy about what a big-time united fan he is. I'm just about holding my breath from letting rip at the eejit, when the other guy asks him: do you get to many games? 'First time' he says, whereupon I burst out laughing and respond 'I've seen Chris Eubank more times at OT than you've seen United!' The Dubliner - utterly crestfallen when the other bloke started laughing - exits stage left. Surefire way to improve fitness, always went on weekends to engage in winding them up. Never been fitter.

Actually a bit jealous of Brighton, they've acquired some really good players and look the part. If we'd signed Welbeck he would have fallen apart and retired after two appearances.
