He joined us, we needed a replacement for Burrell, did the usual interview saying he was looking forward to getting started.
A week or two later the club reported that he picked up an injury in training, that it would be weeks which have turned into months and the club is silent.
I would like to know what caused the injury, why has he been out so long and will he be ready to start pre season? [Post edited 8 May 11:02]

I think they said he had some sort of bone bruising. According to the internet, it can take months to heal and rehab means avoiding putting weight on it. Might explain why he hasn't been spotted at training.

Smokescreens and limited information.
A young player, but with plenty of potential and glimpses.of class that suggest he could be a very talented and skillful player in the near future.
However, nowhere to be seen.
Sadly, if the injuries are not neccessarily so, then unfortunately this has Taylor Richards vibes for me.
Feel sad for the man himself if that is the case, but as a Rangers fan, just looking at the player and his availability, i really hope we have not made a similar mistake again, otherwise that shows a lack of due diligence done by the club in terms of checking every possible element of a transfer, we need to be aware of when signing new players.
It would show very poor judgement by the club, if this was a Taylor Richards mk2 situation.
Not saying, it is, and hopefully it is just an actual injury, he picked up in training and he is simply recovering.
But, lack of recent news could mean the Taylor Richards vibes might be correct.
Tbf though, if the club actually would have said the guy is struggling with his anxieties, mental health and he actually is and they say,we hope to see him playing as soon as. Personally, i dont think thats an issue for the player himself and also would stop a complete lie that they have said he has an injury and then radio silence.
If this was true, i would have prefered the club to say so and not lie, ie we all knew what was going on for Taylor Richards and the lies about his injuries, actually probably made the whole scenario, and worse for the player also but also wound up the fanbase up, something chronic.
I am still hopeful, he is just injured. And will be ready for pre season though.
Let's hope so.

We did an Indian in Blackburn after a midweeker there a few years ago that looked good, was massive, was near the ground, and on a match night was totally deserted apart from us. Tasted alriight, no after effects in the morning. All very strange.
We then looked it up for reviews on the train back Wednesday morning and there were several local press articles and A LOT of TripAdvisor reviews saying they were on a final warning for serving meat that was... not what it said on the tin.

The club have, IMO, caused all of this with their myopic obsession with confidentiality, off the record, vagueness, secrecy and at times outright gaslighting of the support, creating a vacuum into which rumours and inuendo will inevitably flow.
But that's not going to be a legal defence for us, or you, in court. So, whatever you've heard (and we've all heard it), don't post it on here please. | | | |

Am glad you are on top of all the potential legalities, thats allowable Clive.
But, yes do agree, the clubs lack of information on a lot of things and also vague statements doesnt help us all speculating sometimes also.
I have googled after what you have said and wasn't myself also aware of what's considered potentially libellous or not and that it would end up most likely with yourself being clobbered if there was an issue, so absolutely none of us would want that, at all.
Most of us, I guess are at times unaware of what we can and can't say and where we should tread carefully.
Is there anywhere on here that states what could potentially cross a line. If not maybe, a short piece could be stickied or pinned up top, so available for all to see and if you have to, in future delete some posts, then you could alert the user concerned just to reread the pinned post...
