A poor start, a poor Ref, and maybe a poor challenge, but from my seat I couldn’t really see but the player’s reactions either told a story or gave the referee an easy decision to make and poor selection as Dunne was not moving freely though out the game.
That’s the bad covered, now let’s get onto the good.
Never gave up, controlled the game, energy in abundance.
A massive reminder of Derby 2QPR 2 from a few years back when Hamie Mackie got that late goal.
Great goal from Paul Smyth and also from Poku
Adamson was exceptional when he came on
Charles playing so far forward gave out ball from the back which although he did not work in the 1st worked in the second.
Created so many chances.
Madsen dictated the pace of the game today and Edwards was Edwards in the second half bringing the ball out of defence.
Stephen got a call right today in replacing Mbengue with Smyth as we went for it.
Crowd today got behind the team well today.
MOM could of been Madsen, Adamson but I thought Poku deserved some may disagree.
Only a draw but felt like win.

Yes last season we lose that game 2 or 3-0. As soon as they came out in the second half you kind of knew we'd really go for it. We could have actually won it really but to salvage a point from a horror first half was very impressive. Adamson is suddenly an absolute player.

Loved that performance from Adamson. Aggressive in the tackle, calm on the ball. Just needs to work on getting some decent deliveries in the box. Looks like we might have a player on our hands. Who'd have thought that six months ago. Well played young man!

Probably one of the poorest first halves we’ve played in recent memory followed by one of the best we have played! Absolutely monstrous mentality as soon as we came back out after the break and we probably should have won.
Adamson was excellent, we suddenly now have 4 really good fullbacks, although Cirkin is a wally for that tackle. Was over the top and not needed, I thought it was a red before the ref pulled his card out, others may disagree.
Saito made a big difference and although didn’t quite have the end product, was so direct and positive the rest of the team followed suit. Smyth also had a big impact coming on at right back and scored a brilliant goal.
I know it’s only Preston, but we need to enjoy this team as we have lacked bollocks for many years and we now have big characters all through the squad.
Only negative for me was Dunne, who didn’t look fit and up to his usual high standards and Lloyd who should have scored twice.
MOTM - the crowd, dragged 10 men to a point that seemed unlikely at half time!

Disappointed with only a point, yet very happy with a point.
I wonder if they made a rod for their own back making a thing on Wednesday of Jimmy being fully fit? Didn't quite look it.
Kamara must have had a few questionable side glances in the dressing room at half time. Much better second half, but credit also to JS using him to squeeze the play as he should have been rather than poncing around doing not much quite badly.
Great character to come back - in previous years we would've been the Preston, dropping 2 points rather than nearly picking up 3 at the death from a (fcuking finally) decent direct free kick.
Poku looking fitter and continuing to grow was the main individual plus for me - very encouraging.

Fck me, we’re over the moon getting a 90th minute equaliser against the worst side in the league.
Fair point but that game would have been lost a year ago . A little bit of luck and we would have won it because we deserved to . You’re right they are poor side but for 10 men To batter them in the second half was impressive and in hindsight we should have won it .
We started badly, maybe discombobulated by the late Vale withdrawal, Dunne putting in one of his worst halfs for years. Kamara his worst half for the club. Scarlett sadly got a rude awakening of what is required to be a championship level player cost us a goal and for me looks a long way off being ready for a start. I thought the red card was a terrible decision at the time, and having seen the replay it's not even a foul, a foul to us more like. I can see how it looks from certain angles but the linesman had to see that.
Second half with Saito on for Scarlett and the team having given their head a wobble was excellent cannot fault the application, effort and ultimately we deserved the result, but by god we have to take some of those chances. Guilty of trying to walk in it at times and both goals really well taken.
I thought Poku was excellent probably his best game for the club. Remain to be convinced with Burrell against a low block.
However special shout out to Keely Adamson 4th choice left back 3rd choice right back. I thought he would have been moved on in the summer, but he is bar far the most improved player in the squad and was superb today.

I'm usually one to take time and reflect over a game, watch it back when available and come to my conclusions on where things went right/wrong, who played well, tactics etc, but it's hard to not want to come on here and commend the whole Squad and Staff for that second half performance. Very much disappointed to draw at Home to that Preston side, but absolutely buzzing with the comeback and mentality of the Squad to claw it back and almost win it.
Football is as much a mental and emotional game as it is down to physical actions and I think today told us more about the Team than any other game so far this season. We were responsible for both of Preston's Goals due to individual errors and just general poor Defending, and the sending off whether it was one or not, happened, you can analyse those incidents all you want but sometimes it's just human error and misjudgement and have to accept that is also part of Football. I don't think the first half was as shambolic and gutless as some have said.
QPR Teams of old would have played out that game with a whimper but today showed this lot seem to have something different about them. There were definitely tactical decisions and personnel changes that were a massive factor so credit to Stephan and his staff for making those, but the players on the pitch didn't look like they wanted to accept any excuses, and the spirit and standards they collectively showed for themselves and for us in the stands deserved that ovation at the end and had me leaving the ground in a different kind of mood that is usually just dictated by the result.
I would normally pick at things like should Dunne have started as he didn't look himself, was it a bit to soon to start Scarlett, berate the medical team for picking up another injury in the warm up, Alfie Lloyd missing a sitter - but pride is the overriding feeling tonight so I'm gonna stick with that!

Beating Boston to the highlights thank you . Incredible comeback the stadium was rocking after that Smyth bullet glorious all round . 2nd game in 3 Alfie should had bagged a couple the first brutal miss the second sensational save . Did we finally see a chink in Charles armour or was he unsighted on their secong goal will wait to see what those in attendance see . I do get it, but man you could easily take the positives instead of the negatives from today and just have a more enjoyable evening.
Was going as mental as anyone when Smyth smashed in that equaliser, loved that second half.
Trouble is, walking out at the end, the reality dawns. I’ve seen that first half performance against utter shite time and again, it’s in our dna.
In honesty, many no doubt long term supporters, like myself, fully expected that shit show, it never goes away.
Bolton shite, Preston shite, everyone of any calibre smashes them, but not us.
At half time those winners who were presented on the pitch must have wondered wtf they were watching, it was embarrassing. That has to stop. Do the same at West Ham or anyone in the top half and it’ll be game over every time.
