For his own sake he needs to leave palace and go somewhere better, they’ve been pretty decent the last few games, but they aren’t going to be anything better than a mid table prem team. This obviously looks like they are making plans for his departure early and will no doubt spend wisely on a replacement before pre season starts.

Agreed - hopefully they have worked out percentages if it does happen and what they must be allocated to. Eg 70% in books to ease FFP 10% new Marti contract / handcuffs / release clause up, 20% player salaries, transfer kitty etc.
