Neither has done anything this season to justify one though.

Our majority owners on their strategy if we were relegated from the PL....

Our opportunities for growing our commercial revenue are going to be dramatically hindered

Our primary and our secondary and our tertiary objective will be getting back there

When do we learn all we can do to realistically protect the long term future of professional football in Swansea is go legal.

The Trust have bent over backwards to get into bed with these creatures - happy to put our future in their hands. Openly lied and shamelessly manipulated about the previous deal

Had their eyes opened to what most could already see and were repeatedly telling them, and what they had previously been happy to discredit by fair means or foul.

But still at the top level of Trust representation think it ok to openly lie about and abuse members to manipulate to their own ends.

Openly refuse and mock requests for members to have an opportunity to comment on the ballot paper, to ensure, after the shambles of last time, it is at least fair and balanced (as even Lisa very clearly stated it was not last time).

Refuse to include the wider (actual) supporters in such a momentous decision. However are happy to let anyone join the Trust and vote, for a fiver / tenner (look how massively membership rose before and fell after the last vote)without a care for their motives, or if they care a fig for the future of professional football in Swansea or even if they exist or not.

Why have a damaging court case, your ability to sell the club frozen and the strong likelihood of having to personally fork out over £21m, plus expenses when you and your extended friendship and family groups real or imagined can make it all go away for a few thousand pounds worth of membership.

Mock and stamp over any polite debate tried to be brought up about the above and abuse members for fairly taking their turn to briefly raise less than a handful of questions at meetings, whilst sitting silent at the meeting themselves just using the protection of this website to lie and mock.

Slag members off between themselves in the corridors after meetings

Use this website as their own personal propaganda machine (denying members the right to a Trust website where decent debate may be fairly carried out). Here Trust officials lying about members, openly and falsely mocking constructive suggestions, and telling them to F off for presenting fair and honest concerns. All allowed and supported when they should be disciplinary offences.

Rather than now where ironically, the new rules introduced (supposedly to make the Trust more open) make it a disciplinary offence for any Trust representative to openly disagree with any policy agreed by the majority of the Trust Board. Of course as ECB agreed this is an absolute nonsense. In an organisation such as ours It stinks of internal protection and membership exclusion and is a shame on those that penned it and is telling of their style of internal control.

Quite honestly, unfortunately still currently a disgrace of an organisation and all those who support it in such behaviour. Shame the decent representatives are being dragged into this by association

“telling them to F off for presenting fair and honest concerns. All allowed and supported when they should be disciplinary offences. “

Nope. I told you to f*** off for questioning my integrity and calling me a liar (twice) as I pointed out more than once at the time. You spinning that into ‘presenting fair and honest concerns’ is disingenuous.

Let me get this right.
We don't know if Birch has been appointed, but let's assume he will be.
We don't know if he is being brought in for to get the club financially secure and ready to sell, but let's assume he is.
That would mean the American consortium is preparing to leave.
So why are so many who have wanted them out now moaning about this move?

Because he’s an insolvency specialist who has worked at Portsmouth and Bolton.

It's only a relatively small drop next season compared to this season (55% of PL income this year and 45% next year).

I was sure it was 40%. 45% isn't too bad, except we've had to dig deep for cashflow to keep the lights on this season.

Jordan Ayew's been contributing at Palace so hopefully some club thinks he's worth a few million. Should have taken the £9m offer last summer, obviously, but most on here would have thrown a fit at the time as he was supposedly one of our best players.

I think your abuse unacceptable as a Trust Official, to a member expressing concerns about a comment you made dismissing censorship.

Again I ask you for a direct quote from what I posted where I called you a liar. Which is the excuse you gave for your abuse. You have certainly not given one.

Believe me I would never call anyone a liar without strong evidence. I see it as a very serious accusation and certainly not one I made towards you in that post.

You seem to fixate on a comment I repeated that someone made speculating that your were planted to ask the question about HC being paid. I very specifically said that I neither believed or disbelieved it (actually to underline I was not giving it credibility) Now that is certainly not calling you a liar. If you had denied it and I insisted it were true different matter.

The whole point of that statement anyway was as I pointed out to show I was not the only one who perceived an affinity with the Trust / site officials.

Now if you see that as questioning your integrity, I can only say that is what I perceived. Although I am sure you and many people in their professional life engender such affinities. It was certainly useful to us as you could raise the concerns we all shared here when others were banned.

You also said I was accusing you of sitting on the fence, which is nonsense in fact I said you certainly did speak out (I think I said strongly).

If you are willing to give a direct quote where I called you a liar (once or twice) then suggest we do it on the other thread. However I certainly cannot find any such content in my post.

Otherwise perhaps any disingenuousness, is in trying to cover up your abuse by pretending I called you a liar when I did not

Absolutely.

This proves the whole situation that most have stated on here for the last few years as absolute fact.

The whole board, ex board and sale was based on lies, deception and greed.

What does this prove as fact?

That the sale was conducted solely for personal gain.

Now had there been transparency, that's a different conversation. Clearly as the finances are Donald Ducked they simply had to sell to cash in.

It is odd that the club have not confirmed the appointment. (Bit like when Jenkins left - BBC Wales had the story 12 hours before the official site confirmed it).

Perhaps Birch is not joining as Chairman.

Of course they were aware. The Americans' press statement explicitly said they'd be working in conjunction with the trust in finding a replacement. I doubt the trust have been sitting on their hands all this time. I've not seen any comment from them yet however, hence my asking them to explain their reasons for the appointment earlier in the thread

“I think your abuse unacceptable as a Trust Official, to a member expressing concerns about a comment you made dismissing censorship. “

I’m not a Trust official. I have no idea whether you’re a member or not since you’re posting anonymously on an non Trust related Internet forum and I made a comment to another poster that was absolutely nothing to do with censorship of anyone other than myself.
Even if i was a Trust official, this is a private message board, not a Trust message board and as such, people are entitled to post their private views. Unless stated otherwise, posts by anyone connected with the Trust are not Trust posts.

“Again I ask you for a direct quote from what I posted where I called you a liar. Which is the excuse you gave for your abuse. You have certainly not given one.

You were told at the time by me and others, that I was not ‘planted’. For you to repeat that accusation is calling me a liar. Couching it in ‘oh, I don’t know whether it’s true or not but I’m going to repeat it’ is not underlining you are giving it no credibility. If you gave it no credibility, you wouldn’t post it (again). I’d have more respect for you if you had said it, rather than try to slip it in with an attempt at deniability.

“The whole point of that statement anyway was as I pointed out to show I was not the only one who perceived an affinity with the Trust / site officials. “

Your accusations are yet again repeated, thus again questioning my integrity.

“Now if you see that as questioning your integrity”

It is, and you’ve just done it again.

“I can only say that is what I perceived. Although I am sure you and many people in their professional life engender such affinities. It was certainly useful to us as you could raise the concerns we all shared here when others were banned.”

And again.

“Otherwise perhaps any disingenuousness, is in trying to cover up your abuse by pretending I called you a liar when I did not”

Nope. Not attempting to cover up any abuse. You did call me a liar. And you’ve done so in this post as well.

Check your self entitlement Spratty. Paying a tenner gives you the absolute right to criticise the Trust for its actions (or inactions). It gives you the right to do so publicly. It gives you the right to vote for or against people or decisions. It does not give you the right to throw personal accusations at everyone connected with the Trust time and time again, questioning their integrity and calling them liars (from the safety of your anonymity) and flouncing about calling for ‘sanctions’ if you get called out on it.

Coming from a poster that posted this gem:

“I would like to say a big thank you to the previous share holders, but especially Huw, for the effort and hard work they have put into running our club, and congratulations on your new found wealth, hopefully it will set you and your families up for life, I just watched Huw being interviewed in the Liberty, and couldn't help but notice the way he kept looking around the place, the expression on his face was not that of a man who had just picked up a fortune, but that of a man who realised that there was nothing more that he or his fellow share holders could do to carry on running Swansea City FC without risking our premier league status, whether they have sold to the right people only time will tell, so once again I would like to say thank you Huw, and welcome ( please don't feck it up) to our American cousins. “

It's a very good point, we were also told by some clowns on here, that we were about to enter the promised land, you really couldn't make it up.
It looks like things are going to get even tougher.
Shame, avoidable, unnecessary, someone posted the other day that money and greed has ruined football, they're not wrong there.
Sad times ahead.
