The hateful eyes of the championship, every fan throughout the land will want the swans to lose this one.

RADIO Talk Sport 2 LIVE commentary
It’s that ‘extra’ game on bilious Brentford that raises its ugly head. Fresh from the glare of the man child exploding and his tantrum over a penalty given away by his ridiculous decision to try and win a game he had no right to win. It’s Blackburn v Swansea.
Match Officials ROBERT JONES Ian Hussin and Adrian Holmes Fourth Official : Geoff Eltringham
Merseyside official Jones also took charge of the Swans twice last season, having the whistle for the win over Cardiff and the draw against West Brom at the Liberty Stadium. His only other previous Swansea game was the Carabao Cup clash with MK Dons in 2017, which the Swans won 4-1. Jones, who has refereed in the Championship since 2017, will be assisted by Ian Hussin and Adrian Holmes, while Geoff Eltringham is the fourth official. Robert Jones would like to make it known he has never played rugby. However, he has secretly stated he owes Swansea City a penalty or two and will definitely have that in the back of his mind.
The game has been rescheduled because Tony left the taps on for the last game and flooded the ground, strangely enough the once competent drainage system and under soil heating failed to work, allegedly because it wasn’t on, allegedly because the club couldn’t afford it, allegedly.
Tony’s textbook tactical tampering
As we can see swans tv are showing the game to season ticket holders who live in a light green market who hold season tickets between rows F and K. Personally I think this is scant reward for these people who have been in the glare of the yellow market since June 2020. I think it’s time there was a strongly worded letter sent from the red market to the club possibly moaning about something just for the sake of it. Legal action could happen. 😂 Not. Or even twice. Send the same letter twice or two different ones. In the days before markets there were markets but they were not called markets. It’s odd there is still a dark market, this sounds terrible and isn’t a place at would want to be without a torch. Long live the partially fluid, non gender, off purple, let’s have drugs market. It’s the place to be.
FORM GUIDE Blackburn have won one of their last six games, Swansea two out of their last six, oooops ! silly me, I meant four from their last six games. In their last six games Swansea lost at home to Middlesbrough 2-1, Oh damn, so sorry, I’m confused so easily these days, in their last game Swansea beat Middlesbrough 2-1, and Blackburn won away at Millwall 2-0.
The last time Blackburn beat Swansea in the league was in 2011, the score was 4-2:in the premier league. Back in October the swans beat Blackburn 2-0 at the Liberty. That premier league win for Blackburn in 2011 was the first time the sides had met since 1984. Since then games have ended either in a draw or a Swansea win.

The sudden and dramatic change in performances coincides with the arrival of Hourihane. We effectively play with 10 men for most of the match as he's only ever involved during a set piece.
Just as well he scores goals then and creates chances .

its not often i would agree with your posts but this time you are not far off the mark
I've been saying it since the first few games he played - even during those initial games where he was chipping in with goals and assists. The way we played changed dramatically. It was as sudden and as obvious as when Monk first took charge.
Grimes suddenly looks far livelier because he's having to do all he possibly can go cover for Hourihane, as well as ensure he completes his own responsibilities. Since Hourihane arrived, we cannot play out from the back. All we can do to get out of our half is hoof the ball long and hope we win the second ball or a throw in their half.

Not gonna get away with his type of play in the premiership and has much has it pain's me to say it, I think we'll fall away in the playoff's should we get there, you get what you deserve and we don't deserve 2nd spot.
The idea of playing this way in the Prem is horrific. Setting up like we did in Clement's last season. Sitting deep in our own half terrified of the opposition, only with worse players than he had available.
You would hope that we'd be a bit more adventurous if we went up, but it doesn't look as if he's got it in him. Even tonight, we sent on a 36 year old winger instead of a 20 year old striker. Everything about his approach screams caution.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

If anything is gonna drop a youngsters confidence it was that tonight, Routs been out for months, then gets the shout to go on, on his first game back, wouldn't be surprised to see him start ahead of Lowe on Saturday either, TBH.

None of the top 6 are playing champagne football, it's just grinding out results with the non stop schedule, and Norwich are the best at it.
Keep the faith, point away wins at home will get us there
They might not be playing Champagne football, but at least they're playing Prosecco football. We by comparison must be playing what, grape juice football? We're so far off Champagne football we might even just be playing grape football.

Consider that not long ago we played with tempo, style and nous.
This league is dire standard clearly .
Nine of our team would hack it in the Prem if we went up.
Question is do the Yanks want it .
Our transfer window saw one player who looked good get badly injured, another yank who is not treated ,a full back not rated and a striker for the future.
Doesn’t to me look like we did what was necessary when we had the chance to strengthen .
Saying we are where we are changes nothing.
The proof is in the pitch.
Today, Wayne Routledge came in . Why ,to save the game or win it

Wells a bit strong but he tried hard, pressed, defended well at least. Naughton i suppose was ok too in fairness.
I am now totally convinced that Dhanda is just not up to it. What summed it up for me was his pass straight into touch with Bidwell totally unmarked, in acres of space going forward. as for his shooting!!

Yup, never been convinced by him. Flatters to deceive. Needs a loan in the lower leagues to toughen up.

Do the y@no’s want it? A club worth half what they paid or one worth more than they paid. Give it a rest. Why Routledge? Because he us creative and will probably take Ayew's place if he's in quarantine. Given how we are playing it must be what Cooper is coaching ... no team that can play as they did in the first half v Bristol decides to ignore training and hoof the ball for most of the season.

If I was a manager, I would want the signings to be mine.
That's not how it works thesedays. Gone are the days when a manager will go to watch a player Manager tells chairman what kind of player he wants. the statistician guys get work with a shortlist and then chairman signs one of them

Then the manager sulks and refuses to play half of them because they weren't the ones he wanted?

We gained another valuable away point against yet another wily manager and team set-up to beat us. We fought back, as ever and claimed a worthy point.
There's a defeatist, loser pattern emerging on here.
As expected, toxic matchday thread descends to the lowest common denominator. It's clearly an intellect and mindset weakness. A flaw. You know who you are.
Then the usual unthinking suspects jump on board (only when they see a cheap shot opportunity to wade in, two footed, most often blindly, without deep thought). You know who you are, as you only post when you can pretend you have a clever (but oh so obvious) insight.
Cardiff folk are lapping up this fickle, weak, shoddy fan behaviour, and quite rightly.
Shame.

Why indeed.
G night bad lands
Another awful performance, but we still managed to sneak a point, which is amazing really, because, other than the penalty, not one shot on target, must be some sort of record for a club in our league position. I'd really like to suggest Cooper does this or changes that, but the honest truth is, we're a poor team that, with the help of some fortunate late wins are massively over achieving.
I'm absolutely dreading the Scum game, If we were playing Ammanford Town tomorrow, I wouldn't put more than fiver on a Swans win.
Apologies for the negativity after what is a good away point, but the manner we gained that point is utterly depressing.

He certainly needs a goal sharpish to prove he is a decent player at this level and not one who just had a relatively short run of form.
I don't think a goal will suffice is all round basic play..can't control don't give right options ,his passing is dreadful..positioning ...needs a run out team and give wittacker a shout...couldn't do any worse..I not rated him from day one..

An utterly predictable an utterly ridiculous post.
You said "and team set-up to beat us" so tell me Sherlock, which team have we played at their ground that isn''t trying to beat us? And you say others are unthinking.
How is it a cheap shot to state facts? Have you looked at the match stats, 10 shots but only one on target, the penalty. Succesful passes - 61%.
If our own manager says we are poor and lucky to get a draw aren't people on here just staing the obvious, even if you can't see it's obvious? Why you can't see the blindingly obvious I'll have to put down to an intellect and mindset weakness.
Maybe, given your opinion, it means our own manager took a cheap shot at his own team?
