Definitely King's mistake for the goal - failed to control a simple pass to him. Let's be honest, he's average as feck. Ki could have fouled Hazard after that - it would have been cynical and would probably have got him a yellow, but other teams do it all the time. Some of the fouls by Southampton today, towards the end of the game, were very, very "professional". I'm not a Ki hater, but he was lightweight today - there were a few 50/50 balls he stood off and he seemed slow off the mark overall. | | | |

Not sure what we're talking about here. Ki's failed crossfield pass wasn't responsible for the goal - although it was a poor pass. I said so at the time but he didn't hear me. Mawson's pass to King, who failed to control the ball, was. The ball broke to Hazard, who Ki could have fouled and taken one for the team, but didn't, before he fed Fabregas. | | | |
