Ayew and Lowe are knackered. I wouldn’t describe either of them as slow, lethargic or lazy. They just need to recharge. Same goes for Roberts and Bidwell, which is why Roberts isn’t making as many lung busting sprints to get crosses in/get on the end of them and Bidwell is out of the team.

Ayew is anything but lazy, if anything he does too much and runs himself ragged.
On the CF point, imagine what Llorente would have doen with the crosses we used to put in earlier this season!
Other teams have figured us out. Push up high on us, close our wing backs down quickly and we have no other options. That's when we have the ball. Then you look at our defending, how did Billing have so much space, and Danjuma late on? Why do we surrender so much ground before making a challenge? | |

Tell me a striker good enough to be the starting striker of a promotion chasing club for 700k.
The likes of Whittaker and Lowe were signed due to their potential value increases as the clubs we signed them from were in financial trouble.
Without doubt Lowe is now worth a couple of million at least and hopefully Whittaker can get a similar return once he develops.
If that’s the case we will then have £4m or £5m to buy said striker which is more in line with the fees required to get one. While fans have a “now, now, now” mentality and can’t look beyond the current season, clubs often make the best decisions when planning for the years ahead. |  |

What is our net spend on transfers since they have been here? Maybe somebody with a bit of time can work that out and then add on the £100million plus in parachute payments.
Take us to the next level , there really are some mugs out there if they think the yank hedge fund coonts are interested in anything other than lining their own greedy pockets.

Obviously, that's why we never hear Premier league managers complaining about too many games...well, we only hear those from big teams who are in Europe who actually do play over 50 gmes a season, like Klopp the stropp.
These EPL teams rotate though, they have the squads to do it.
Look at Liverpool last season, only 2 players hit 50 appearances.
