International break 11:57 - Mar 23 with 8274 viewsfrancisbowles

Just seen on the offy that they are cramming 3 games into the International break for Scotland and Finland. I hope that MW has been all over the Scotland manager, persuading him not to play Lyndon in all three again.

Last time they did this he came back knackered, missed the first two games after the 'break' and this could have been an instigator of his patchy form and goal drought.

Poland score with their first shot.
England pissing around with it on the edge of their own area.

John Stones WTF? They'd be better off with Rob Dickie at the back.

Lyndon subbed with 22 minutes to go and Scotland 3-0 up.

Err now 4-0. Two for McGinn and one each for Ryan Fraser and Adams.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Because Southgate is clueless

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

I haven't watched a second of it, not one second I find more now than ever international football dull and boring, I clicked on the beeb site and noticed Stones was responsible for the Polish equalizer.
There's a shock for you.
Tedium.

Somebody told him that Kalvin Phillips was good enough to play for England and he appears to have fallen for it.

probably berceuse when you have 2 full backs bombing forward and 3 attacking midfielders ahead of them you probably need some protection to the back 4.

I don't think Phillips is the answer in that midfield 2, would expect Henderson to come back in for the summer

Think we got lucky with the penalty, looked a dive from Sterling.
Unconvincing stuff

And told him to take our corners and free kicks
His set pieces are as bad as his haircut

Just us, Italy, Denmark and the mighty Armenia to win 3 from 3 so far I believe. Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, Croatia and the Dutch all managed to slip up from the stronger nations.

So thats a positive.

Bad enough to get beaten by the whole of Macedonia, but just the north bit is shocking!

It’s exactly the same lot that used to be called Macedonia, but sounds so much worse when only a bit of it beats you.

Love that!

What a tortured history, what a tortured sporting history, what a night for those players and their supporters.

In St Beowulf's Home For Criminally Insane Old Ankle Breakers the sound of grinding false teeth fills the air as news filters through of Rodney Marsh snarking about divers.

Not that any of the dirty northern bastards get an ounce of sympathy from me.
