I think we can take it that we were all underage for our first pint, but legally, mine was 1970 and probably was a pint of Worthy dark in the Cross Keys. It was a great pint in those days.
The other replies are making me feel old. 🙁

Don't worry mate, we're both around the same vintage! I can't remember my first pint, it would have been around 1970, when I was 15.
I remember getting recked on Worthington best bitter when I went on a caravan holiday to Tenby with a gang of mates that year. I don't remember the pub, it might have been the site club, during a disco.

Mid 80s - Gower inn, pint of tennents lager, one of my mates would have gone to the bar, because I definitely looked underage.

First pint I ordered and payed for. Beaufort Arms , Kittle. Allbright bitter, the most popular pint in Wales.63p as I recall.

Me first pint we’re in the General Picton pub,Maesteg.79.

Three of us were 17.

We sheepishly drunk our pints under the dartboard in use.
I had three pints of lager and lime we could not believe we’d actually got away with it.

Think I spewed me ring up afterwards.

After that there was no stopping.

The Langrove. My brother’s first wedding on May 12th 1990. It was the same day as the Crystal Palace and Manchester United 3-3 FA Cup Final (Bloody Cup Final Day Wedding!) 2 and half pints of cider, they were lush... I was 14.

I paid 50p for my first ever pint - Carlsberg. It was in the Westgate Hotel in Newport. March 1979. I was 14.

The daftest part was that before I went out my mum had warned me not to leave my drink unattended as someone might slip something (she never specified exactly what) in it. So having nipped for a pee I was too scared to drink it.

Think you was ripped off with that price, scandalous.

I can remember in 1979 when I started a pint of trophy bitter 26p up from 23p and a pint of Heineken for 33p.

You could get pissed on a pound, they were the days.

The only place I know where you can get pissed, well kind of, on a pound is Bulgaria.

A pint of Kominitzer lager chilled, similar to Heineken was just 33p a pint a few years back.

Can still be done folks.

Innit...no idea when or where I had my first pint. Didn’t seem that special at the time I guess! Was probably around 2004ish. Maybe it’s a generation thing.

Barley Mow, Builth, back bar. 15, Albright was 25p.
Butchers shop on a Saturday morning and 2 nights after school earned me £8.
I would go out with £3, a few pints, disco, and then a bite to eat. Get home by midnight, act sober, and still have plenty of change.
