| Welsh independence on 15:58 - May 8 by DwightYorkeSuperstar | "Devolved areas include health, education, economic development, transport, the environment, agriculture, local government and some taxes." Health - We have the most poorly run NHS in the UK. Education - We have been bottom of the PISA rankings ever since Wales have been in control of education. Economic development - We run at the biggest deficit out of all home nations. Transport - £40,000,000 spent consulting the M4 issue in South East Wales. It's now scrapped entirely and Westminster have stated they'll step in as it is a huge barrier to economic growth in Wales. The environment - All looks fine here. Agriculture - Again, fine. Local government - Appalling. How much wasted on vanity projects like the bendy bus? Taxes - Fine. It's staggering how they have remained in charge. |
These ^ are the facts In fairness they have done an excellent job in spunking money at Cardiff for the last 20 years.

It's not a trend. I vote for a left of centre party. I am honest about how I vote. I have explained time and again why. My education and my social responsibility. Does it mean I'm correct? Not necessarily but it is my belief and my opinion. I am no more a sheep in South Wales than the same in the South east of England. The big difference is that us South Walians are tainted with being stupid. I also point out that I am trying to level the playing field with people posting politics which is, at best, curved.

You said you saw a trend in me. It' what you perceive. I care not what you or anyone thinks about what I post.If it offends then tough because I see much that offends me on here and on social media. Its upsetting to see Paul post as he does. He s a commie but he stayed here and he could stay again so I am not a intolerant as you think. Fact is,in person,we dont behave as we do on here ;possibly as it would get violent. I would certainly stove a head in of anyone accusing me of being a paedo lover or supporter . Fact. I have a lot of time for Paul even though he thinks Im scum now but I know how his head was turned .I wont forget that either. Ive a lot of time for you too, believe it or not. Now I ll redress the balance for you I detest Boris.I think he is weak and vacuous but cunning enough to BS many. His trying to be popular by not enforcing a harder lockdown and is disgusting Xmas break killed thousands directly. I think Patel is a very weak Home Sec and has helped the police not at all. I do like Sunak. I think he is an excellent chancellor and is seeing us recover better than the alternative Labour option,Annalise the unready .We seem set for a Boom and I hope Wales is involved and not jut the south east.

I thought they'd spent over 100 million in total on the M$ plans, investigations and inquiry? The real sticking point is Drakers ws never in favour of it and said it wouldn't have gone ahead even if "we could afford it" because of the Gwent levels.

HMM. Attack? Poor choice of word. I always attack the text not the person.Few others do. If we only interacted with those of a similiar political pursuasion ,imagine. Want a plumber? Sorry, you re a Tory. etc. You have interacted with Tory voters. The very same who loved Thatcher. We simply have to get it together and forget this political crap. attack - yes, a poor choice of a word. I would love to see an end to political postings on here even on the non football forum. It is hard to avoid politics. That is a fact. I would love to see people on this forum put in front of a real political forum that can readily show up how little they actually know to be true. Posters on either side of the fence would be torn to shreds by political analysts. Then we could get on with life on here. Swansea born and Swansea bred and when I'm gone I'll be Swansea dead.

When you walk into our house what you see first is a Vetch Field sign. Our master bedroom would interest you too. I'll show you around sometime. You can see Wales from it too.

Iwas bumpingthis thread and saw your comment, I dont only attack the left. That's just a lie and there are a lot of posts that prove it to be so. Now, the reason I'm bumping this thread, Welsh indy, there was a march in Wrexham today apparently. They (well WOL) reckon 8000 people turned out though other reports give the numbers as less than that. Even so, if Welsh indy is SOOooo important to so many people, why do so few turn out? Roughly 1 in 400 bothered. There were maybe 100,000 in Swansea today, as somebody else put it, to see "things British, the Red Arrows, RAF, Battle of Britain flight" so isn't that message loud and clear, Wales is really not bothered about indy, it's just a noisy minority backed up by a sabre rattling media outlet making exaggerated claims for their own ends and desires. In May 2019 the first Cymru indy march attracted 2000 people. July 2022, the first post covid Match attracts 6 to 8,000 in wrexham. These things build. You might be happy to live on your knees, tugging your forelock to peopke like Johnson, but your felliw country men have higher ambitions for their nation. When Scotland is free and Ireland is united, then the people of wales will speak. 🇪🇺ðŸ¤ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿

I'm not living on my knees, you are. You bow down to a misbegotten idea, you crawl to the altar of stupidity and pray to a false god. I don't spend all my days moaning and whinging, I get on with my life. You'll spend your whole life moaning about this and die a miserable person because it never happened. meanwhile I will still have gotten on with my life. If, by some miracle you get what you want in my lifetime, then you'll see the truth.

8000 is an excellent turnout for a event that gets little or no ore event publicity, a recent march in Scotland who a lot further down the indy Road than Wales got 1500 attending. Cymru is now starting to find its feet as a confident progressive nation, the wheels are in motion. As for the air show it was a free event for people to go a watch aircraft, they could have had banana Republic on the sides/wings of the aircraft for all joe public could have cared.

Correct. How much did the air show cost, and shirley that money would be better used in giving nurses a pay rise ? Plus its also a joke following the green commitments made by world leaders in Glasgow. Needs to end.

In Scotland they have a pro indy government pushing a line that still doesn't have majority support. In Wales our government, our elected leader has said that there is no hope of indy though he will talk about it. Remember Drakeford asking the uestion, what currency would we use? That was his reason for being pro union just to start with, before going any deeper. I'm sure everybody on the AUOB mailing list knew all about the march, it was on the WOL too. It is still true, more people in Wales voted tory than support an indy Wales.
