Dean Whitestone will be the man in the middle when Swansea City visit West Brom at The Hawthorns tonight (8pm). The Northamptonshire official will be taking charge of the Swans for the first time this season, having been at the helm for the home win over Blackburn last term, as well as victories over Preston and Middlesbrough in the campaign before that. Whitestone has no shortage of experience, and has been refereeing for long enough to have had the whistle for a Swansea game during the club’s previous stint in the Championship. He will be assisted by Steven Meredith and Shaun Hudson, while Matthew Donohue will be the fourth official.

Their shape is terrible, huge disconnect from midfield to attack and massive spaces left either side of their defensive flank.
Disappointed we have intentionally put players out of position again with with Christie on the left and Wolf on the right.
But if we can play these balls quickly and expose the space left on the flanks of the defence, no reason we can’t catch them. |  |

Barring a couple of decent players, West Brom look absolutely rotten. Completely devoid of confidence. Unfortunately, we don't look sharp enough ourselves to capitalise on it.

It is, but I’ve seen far worse this season, especially away from home.
We look like we may get something out of this instead of it being a case of how many we will concede.
Granted this WBA team is utterly shocking but still, I’m not annoyed by this performance so far. Ahearne Grant their top scorer hasn’t started which is odd, but expect to see him in the second half.
