| Swansea City v Wayne Rooney’s Derby County : Matchday Thread 21/22 21:18 - Apr 6 with 14809 views | NotLoyal | It’s the Wayne Rooney thread with added thread and thread. The type of thread your old granny used to use to thread your socks. The Ref ! Tim Robinson will be the referee when Swansea City host Derby County at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday (3pm). The West Sussex official will be taking charge of a Swans game for the second time this season — having overseen the home win over Blackburn in February - and just the fourth time in total. He previously had the whistle for the away win at Reading during the 2018-19 season, and the defeat at Fulham the following campaign. Robinson will be assisted by Andrew Fox and Nigel Lugg, while Sam Allison will be the fourth official. Robinson has taken charge of 30 games in all competitions this season, dishing out 132 yellow cards 🟨 and six reds 🟥 including the one issued to Ryan Manning in that meeting with Blackburn. 132 yellows in 30 games ! Look out ! Wayne Rooney looks ahead to Swansea City v Derby County 8th Apr 2022 10:16Derby boss Wayne Rooney really couldn’t have done anything more to get his side in to a position where they had half a chance of staying in the championship this season. The loss of twenty one points for administration issues and financial breaches have been the catalyst for what is fast looking like relegation. 0 Job Done ðŸ‘

We are susceptible to pace, be it with balls over the top or break aways hopefully now the defence is a little more settled not so much. |
At only 2 - 1 I felt Martin took a risk taking Piroe off. Think we should have kept him on and gone on to kill the game off. I agree I wouldn't have changed it too much.

The job got done which is the most important thing. I've been genuinely underwhelmed by Wolf, but starting to perform of late. He had one great run first half which took him to the edge of Derby's box and tried to roll it across the the box when it was screaming out to be smashed, maybe that will come with more confidence. Is he likely to be here next season anyone know?

My understanding is Celtic were due to sign him ? He has got better especially the last three matches, but overall has been underwhelming. Same as Ntcham to a certain extent. Be interesting to see who we keep, sell and sign in the summer

Thought Wolf played well yesterday both in attack and defence, thought Paterson turned away from him to go inside a number of times when he was in good positions to get behind their defence. He had a his hands full helping Lati out against the derby preferred attacking option doing a sterling job and also an attacking threat himself, at the end was out on his feet after his late in the game battle with their winger. We brought Wolf in to replace Paterson. RM confirmed as much in his post game presser, so a big chunk of his season has been learning to play in a new position. Seems like he's now getting more comfortable there. Also believe that he's the type of player who looks better the better the team is playing. For me Ntcham falls into that category too.

Ntcham has been a big disappointment to me, should be taking championship games by the scruff and dictating but rarely does.

| Swansea City v Wayne Rooney’s Derby County : Matchday Thread 21/22 on 11:02 - Apr 10 by jasper_T | Crazy that Martin's most ardent supporters are claiming that he's definitely not learning or adapting as time goes on. Isn't that a quality we want in a manager? In the rush to dogpile forums enemies people don't half say some stupid things. Last night it was "tactics don't matter in football" when the biggest defence of our poor results this season had been the players were needing time to adapt to the massive change in tactics from last season. It's impossible to actually discuss football here sometimes when the personalities are more interested in winning their battles. |
I don't think many are claiming that Jasper, what many are stating is the style of play has changed. Your post on a whole is pretty bang on though, too many posters are more interested in being right and too proud to put their hands up to things now and again. Some posts have become ludicrous, I can totally agree to that.

if you cant see that Martin has adapted the style it says a lot...Jasper is a decent poster read his posts on this thread. watch the highlights from earlier in the season...we use the ball differently from the kick off...Grimes is playing more cross field passes,as are the defence...Naughton is carrying the ball out and gett5forwarss more. we still look to play football but we are now playing less passes for the sake of passing and looking to use the ball. Ok so you nah not agree....but funny how the stats back that up too

The stats don't back anything up! You can have 100% possession that includes all passes being played long or crossfield.... That is a fact. The confidence is growing and the players are getting used to it to get more confident from the foundation that has been set.

| Swansea City v Wayne Rooney’s Derby County : Matchday Thread 21/22 on 18:00 - Apr 10 with 865 views | Badlands | I just watched the highlights and the 'penalty' they didn't get and Rooney was moaning about was a good call from the ref!!! I know. Their 49 dragged Cabango down by the shirt. Very clear from one angle not so such from others. | |

The Curtis Davies handball was damning, look at his reaction, he knew he was in big trouble....i think that was more cvlear than the foul on Pato by the keeper. We got away with one at the end but we deserved it after the 2 terrible calls.

While both had hold of each others shirt, Christie was fouled before that, as he chested the ball their attacker barged in the the back with no chance of getting the ball

I thought Wolf had a good first few games, then faded, but is coming back. Who knows maybe new surrounds took its toll, ,

DrP has very little emotion and uses facts that when it comes down to it are difficult to dispute, most of us post emotionally and that's what 99% of supporters do. I rarely engage with him if I disagree because as annoying as it can be he's usually correct and can back it up. AC on the other hand is purely a wum. |

Did the forecast pan out as expected in outer SA7 ?

I just guessed that based on a previous post I had read. As to where you may live, when you post pictures purportedly taken by you at the Melbourne F1 event, I assume that is where you live ? Maybe you were just visiting? Who knows ( or cares ) ?

But you also said where you live? So what’s the difference? How else would AC know? You didn’t guess my profession at all. You were told on a very funny WhatsApp chat by someone who doesn’t have the first clue, who was told by another person that doesn’t have the first clue - yes I have insiders, hence why I knew your multi. But regardless that’s my supposed profession and my location you were happy to discuss for no apparent reasons. A wise man said earlier something about glasshouses… apt.
