He offers us nothing week in week out besides defensive work, going forward he is a complete non entiity
22 G/A in 116 matches is shocking return for someone who is put into so many good positions. His crossing success rate must be even worse. He has no pace, no skill to beat a player and can't cross the ball. It's beggers belief that he is playing at this level of football. My opinion on Cullen he is a good player to bring on if opposition teams are sitting deep defending to unlock them not when we need to ensure our defensive formation is solid, horses for courses.
Better players can be utilised in both circumstances and that is the issue at the moment dealing with both cases, the midfield is bereft of good experienced players. I hold Widell in high regard but some of his wasteful, aimless and needless clearances smacked of inexperience late in the Norwich game. |

These are general remarks made by many followers of every club. Disrespectful? No more than Eonld stating fifteen months go he wants to play for Liverpool. We have all followed the Swans long enough to know that no deserves a taxi and who doesn’t.
The internet just opens it all up a bit. What used to be said to your mate after a game in the pub is now broadcast for thousands to read. Sign of the times. | |

If we have serious intentions of getting into the promotion picture then we need better. Cooper, Cullen, Ronald don’t offer the consistency to justify their inclusion - Key gets a pass for his improvement towards the end of the season - Cabango and Burgess because they had to play in every game due to lack of cover.
A ball playing CD must be a priority and maybe promote Arthur Parker or Blair McKenzie from the U21’s.
Cullen, Ronald and Cooper could be sold to fund a good CD and maybe we could switch to 3-5-2 to use WB’s to nullify our did winger conundrum. I’d be excited to see Vipotnik and Idah form a successful partnership up front. | | | |
