The big one you mention is hardly going to raise eyebrows of it happens but certainly would be a good old Swansea signing.

Perhaps Liverpool are going to recall Wilson and send him out to us his value has decreased since the rabble up the road got their hands on him.

Wont be selling him for 23 million like Brewster

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised by that one bit.

Edit - out of contract in summer so it’s a no go unless we go in and put a clause in saying we will pay them £10m if we are promoted, or something stupid like that. Reality is they know he isn’t making it with them, and they completely c*cked up not selling him to Burnley. They will lose him on a free.

Interesting one Keith, assuming the ‘big quiet one’ is not Morris or Hourihane as both are being openly linked that would leave the striker position vacant - most sites seem to tag Morris as a wideman who chips in with goals & assists (bit like Lowe I guess) - if it’s a Cooper link, surely not Brewster on loan??

I watched much of the Cardiff match yesterday and my first thought was he must be wondering why the hell he is there. He’s not benefitting, the club isn’t benefitting. Liverpool aren’t benefitting.

Cant speculate as nothing is put there, just the new Swansea way of not disclosing anything until its actual news, similar to the covid issues and injuries. Fingers crossed its a good un.

I normally read in the bath but at 5.30 pm yesterday I took my transistor radio along and listened to the cardiff phone in. Robbo was a guest phone call but got short shrift them prefering to whinge about Harris, style of play or Moore. Philips desperately looking at the positives when going down to 10 men .They lost.

I wasted an hour of my life yesterday/

They still have abject contempt for us

Appears he left Trabzonspor back in March - having scored 7 times in 16 games - & then had a 4-month worldwide football ban for betting rule breaches.

Technically a free agent I guess - never played at our level.

Morris is a forward so maybe the BIG one is.....Gylfi's coming back Ok I know he's not but if it's being kept hush hush it sounds important.

Don't tell me our cheating, stealing owners are going to surprise everybody, including those who believe those things and buy a decent player?

We could be this transfer window away from making a genuine push for promotion, get it right now and the jigsaw could be complete.

Looking at how we handle transfers, I wonder if social media helps our scouts? Do they look to see how a player behaves, what kind of person they are outside the club? Reading the blog it seems like they rated Watters as a player but not as the right person?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

If I was a betting man I would look at these factors. This is based on my gut feeling and my special football computing machine I keep in a safe in a wooden cabin in the forests above Resolven. Consider these factors kindly.

1) Swansea have a good link with Chelsea. Guehi, Gallagher.

2) Their valued player who was bambi on ice when he came with no experience is now the best central defender in the championship part of the meanest defence in UK football. 50 games or so under his belt. Handed to Swansea 1 year ago as a shy youth he is now 'the man'. Marc Guehi.

3) There was talk of an on going connection between Chelsea and Swansea but little sign of it this season with only Guehi. Guehi has joined a young professional group more interested in woodwork than cocaine and high jinks of various kinds .

4) Chelsea withdrew one of the prospects from a relagation battle last season to get their player invloved in play off and top table action. Gallagher.

5) Cooper goes for "top shelf" young players in the sporting sense and will not at this critical time go for a squad filler.

6) There is a vacancy at attacking midfielder and striker.

7) Chelsea have a teenage prospect with 5 appearance requiring a extended run of games but in a squad that has numerous world class talent in his position.

When you put those factors into the "Resolven algorithm" kept in a safe box some where in the forest there is one name that comes out with the highest probability factor.
