Should be a two week fine resulting in a loss of wages.

I did many stupid things, but my age didn't excuse me, neither should it excuse Cabango. Heavy fine is well in order, plus a bollocking from the manager and heavy criticism from the fans that pay his wages, more so now that we're at a very critical part of the season.

Plenty of talent nipping at his heels for gametime in Joel and Brandon and that could end up being punishment enough if one of them gets a run and jumps the queue for next season. Cam Evans playing regularly at Waterford as well, getting valuable experience. [Post edited 12 Apr 2021 21:47]

Very True Boundy, but he's not that young to have not known the consequences of his actions, silly boy, might have been borne out of a lack of playing time though, but still.

Funnily enough Rog, I just thinking back to one of many incidents whilst having a shower, making a stupid juvenile comment whilst pissed, probably 30yrs ago now, funny how things come back to you for no particular reason.

That's definitely not minor then. Season-ending party.

He’s a young player who has made a mistake, albeit a serious one. I’ve never met him, so this is second hand, but I’ve heard he’s a really humble and engaging lad who appreciates what he’s got. Let’s not cast aspersions over his character please.

I know a lad who played with him for Wales U21's. He's apparently a lovely fella from a well respected family. His attitude has never been an issue in his career. Cooper said how hard he works when he was asked about his contract renewal. He's made a mistake here though, and will be punished accordingly. He will learn from it I have no doubt.

You are reading what you want to read because you are annoyed that you couldn’t further your point with me in the other thread, nothing more. Repeating what you heard is casting aspersions on somebodies character, it’s second hand information. I am commenting on what has factually happened and the reflection of that in someone’s decision making. It’s quite the difference. I think it’s a pretty fair observation that while we clearly perform better with him in the side there could be external things keeping him from the line up - decision making such as this may show the immaturity which Cooper has seen. He is 20 years old after all, maturity funnily enough comes with maturing. That’s not a slight on the bloke in any way shape or form. Stop being so silly.

Being a lovely fella, from a respected family that appreciates what he’s got doesn’t mean you can’t make immature decisions. They don’t go hand in hand. That is what looks like has happened here. Doesn’t mean he’s horrible, it’s a mistake. I’m sure he will learn from it. But it may explain a thing or two that goes deeper than footballing reasons.
