My grandson called to see if we needed anything from ASDA today (stayed by the front gate)
When he called back he told me a woman was walking around coughing everywhere with no tissues, one guy asked her "what the f*ck she was doing" she just said it's nothing to do with you. My grandson left in a hurry, what the hell is wrong with people, is it just plain ignorance?
The worst bit is that many of these ignorant people might be able to deal with the virus. It’s the people they pass it on to who might not be so fortunate.
In a lockdown scenario, supermarkets will be one of the few places you’ll still be able to go.
10 people queuing outside Iceland in Treorchy this morning about 850, nearly all over 70, all standing less than a foot between each other. Mongs, the lot of them.
Second Time Around Record Shop-Tonypandy, RCT-Open Friday and Saturday.
Valley Leaflets-Reliable Leaflet Distribution throughout South Wales.
Tonight's announcement coinciding with announcement today that any Brits abroad to come home while they still can. Can only equate to an imminent lockdown.
In a nutshell this debacle has been caused because there are a sh!toad of Chinese approx 200k in northern italy working in fashion sweatshops, they all fvcked off back to wuhan, the capital of the fashion industry in China for the chinese new year at the end of January, they then returned to work in italy, the rest you all know.
Did you see my comment yesterday about my wife's trip to Milan? Aligns very much with this.

End of the week. Anyone’s who’s not home by then is stuck where they are for the duration.

And the Chinese doctor who called this in December was locked up.
Now what about the substance of Govt incompetence that Piers Morgan is getting upset about ?
Thanks mate.
I don't listen to the "noise". I listen almost exclusively to the govt briefings, including their advisors, and any other scientists that appear on the BBC. No idea what Piers said - don't really care. He's not an expert, and neither are those with their own agendas like Ash. That OK?
Just home from wrk g and catching up on this thread, let’s of issues and developments.
I don’t like Piers Morgan, but he was right to question the Health Secretary, point out the comments as reported in yesterday’s Times and then to point out the comments of the advisor on the audio. The Government have a big majority and no government regardless of whatever party should be able to rule without being held to account.
It certainly appears that the Chinese may have delayed disclosing the existence of the virus which has resulted in time being lost. I also think that our Government (as have numerous other governments) been slow to react, we should have been preparing a while ago, things like ventilators etc take time to build. He should also have shut down pubs etc instead of recommending people give them a wide berth, but to be fair he has introduced legislation re paying wages.
Let’s hope the morons out there get in line and start listening to the advice they are being given.
My point is that people keep comparing us to Italy. We are not the same.
The path of spread of the virus can’t be assumed to be identical across countries. That’s not me saying it, it’s the medical experts saying it.
When Johnson says ‘we’re x weeks behind’ he means in terms of spread of infection, not necessarily outcomes.
I don't think that the last paragraph of yours is right.
We need to compare ourselves to other countries as a comparison and a measure to determine if we are doing well or badly we need to learn from what they have done right and what they did wrong.
