Just can't see what the POX has done to improve the Saints. Defense is still dodgy and even with plenty of possession we are not creating penalty box chances.

Just hope the Pox doesn't do for the saints what Harry did

Great game, poor ref though, gave them a dubious penalty, which was well saved, denied us a perfectly good goal - radio commentators and both managers said it was a good goal - and denied us a penalty right at the end. Poor substitutions from Laudrup though, I wish he would drop Hernandez, Dyer is ten times better than him. Ki played well, but needs to keep building his confidence. Moore had a cracker.

As I told last week: we're not a crappy side, it's the mental approach and concentration that was lacking in the QPR game.

Unfortunately, the lack of striking prowess made a hard-fought battle look like a dull one. So we must be thankful to Artur for saving the day.

Next 2 games are not to be written off moaning wise: we must keep the focus, players and supporters. Here comes the real crossroad: we will either materialise the fighting spirit or be sinking. Hope MoPo shows his real character by then.

Before last week, I didn't think it was worth going to Villa but went straight to box office after the match and got the tickets.

A really good performance, just a bit slow for the start of 2nd half but rode it out and got back on top. Full credit to Harry and his staff for selection and subs even though it wouldn't have been the popular pick, it worked.! Shame about Tarabt not even on the bench, anybody know why? When you analyse the subs they made sense. Harry put on Mackie and SWP because we were winning and he knew they would work hard and close people down.

We need another good result next week, both teams will be feeling confident after today. Probably important that we don't go behind.

Apart from the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half, I thought we were in control. And after going behind against the run of play, we kept our shape/formation and belief. What Colback or Larsson had to do to get a yellow card is anyones guess considering Sunderland committed 19 fouls to our 4. Actually thought the score flattered them , not that two of my mates were worried as one put £20 on 3-1, the other put £10 on 3-1 at 18/1.Villa is now absolutely massive next Saturday.
C'mon You R's !!!!

Best 'team' performance of the season.

At 0-1 down the heads did not drop!!!

No real weak links. Bosingwas spot kicks seemed to be better than Taarabts or Graneros have been (crazy eh)

In fact I think we are a much better team without Taarabt.

Three great goals - THREE GOALS, who would have thought?

Hope the same team starts at Villa. This 11 is capable of beating the drop

Very disappointing with a couple of wreched performances frankly Lallana was a waste of space. Very disappointed after dominating the game. The referre and the lino in front of us were very poor.
