And when your being restricted in the transfer market.
We have what we have, stay in with these kids, quit this nonsense slagging off players every week, be decisive in your criticism but why so hateful. Give them development in your feedback.

Direct it at the board, they are the reason. These local young kids and other cast offs are a credit to our shirt, leave it out.

Fck the board.

The board can't be blamed for this one. The players out there should have put this one out of sight.

That is very easy for you to say.

I agree. Our young team was very impressive today but failed to finish Rotherham off. We need some experienced players in there.
As it was we let a poor goalkeeping performance and a crap ref be our undoing by not taking our chances.
I am gutted. This result is as bad as the Ipswich game and is an issue we must address If we are going to make a challenge this season.

He’s right though. I’d actually blame Fer as much for the weak, side footed shot straight at the keeper as the handball. Not that I’m singling him out, as we just weren’t clinical with at the end of all the great football we played. That game should have been won way before Nordfeldts rush of blood.

No Res/2nd coming or whatever his fckn name is. He knows the problem, just like the rest of us.

He’ll be on here soon defending Nordfeld as first choice goalkeeper and decrying disloyal fans.

Nordfelt, I've got to say, he's gotten away with a few things but still gets picked. Mulder did nothing wrong that I can remember, he must be wondering what he has to do, or maybe he's wondering what Nordfelt has to do to get dropped?
All players make mistakes, this just shows people that more experience can help but it's not always a clincher.
We need some more muscle, another goalscorer and preferably those 2/3 players will be old enough to be called experienced. We can't sign more cheap youngsters and hope against hope to win games. We need to put away our chances more often, it's obvious to all of us.

The big thing for me is, this league isn't great quality but it is competitive. If we sign the right 2/3 players we could have a go, or could have but come january we may well be too far out. If the Americans wanted profit, spending that 5/6 million in the last window made more sense than doing it in January. If we were miles away they could still sell in Jan. If we'd spnt it and went up they could have taken Cardiff's approach, accepted relegation as almost a certainty and pocketed whatever they could or sold the club on.

All that said, if the Euro Super league does come to fruition, it changes things completely. There won't be many rich people lining up to buy any high placed Championship clubs or lower ranked EPL clubs, the Sky cash will dry up and go to the ESL.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Trying to shift the blame for that result onto the kids is bizarre. Not experienced players fault for fckups, not the manager's fault for not controlling the game, no, it's the young players fault for not scoring more goals so that the experienced players and manager can fck up as much as they want without consequences.

Do you not think that game should have been put to bed? Yes, both penalties were stupid mistakes, you can’t make excuses for either, but it should have been 2 or 3 nil by then. Fer arguably missed the best chance.

I haven’t seen anyone criticise any of the young players directly, just the team as a whole. They quite rightly get a huge amount of praise and played very well today. They aren’t above criticism when they don’t capitalise on dominant performances.

Nope usually I am of that view... but this is down to Nordvelt and Potter not changing players.

you could tell we needed to change it up at 70 minutes... those 2 substitutes should have came on then.. we looked like we could have done something... but they needed time and it would have forced them to change again.

And that 1st penalty... that is all down to Nordvelt nobody else.... that was a simple punch out.. he hesitated for no reason missed the ball and took down the player for no reason as there were 2 swans players there waiting.

That second penalty is the refs fault.. nowhere near a penalty.. that was from bad reffing.

I don't blame the board for this... we were actually comfortable 80 percent of the game.. Fer and Nordvelt are not kids... Fer should have scored easily and nordvelt was at fault. I am not blaming the board for this.

That wasn’t a simple punch out as you say, but a big error on the keeper’s part in letting the ball bounce and delaying as he did in not going for the ball as he should have

For once the referee applied the letter of the law as all refs should do and not what you see every week in defenders getting away with decisions which should have resulted in a penalty

Maybe Swansea can say they were unlucky in having a ref that applied the law that all referees should be doing. That if you foul in the box, there should be only one decision

Showboating at 1-0, we had attacking situations to go for 2nd goal and choose to be clever playing the ball around with no purpose.

I think that sums up Swansea’s tactics after they scored

Definite penalty. Indecisiveness followed by realising he’d screwed up and panicking. You do sometimes see keepers get away with those, but can hardly blame the ref for giving it.

It’s because he missed a great chance to bury the game and gave away a soft penalty. You may not agree based on his overall performance, but surely the reasoning isn’t beyond you.

That’s an understatement about giving a soft penalty

If you fling your arms in the air in the box and the bell hits one of your arms, then the referee has no option other than to give a penalty decision

The ball was going wide so why he raised his arms, only Fer can say

There will be plenty more games like today's this season which is why we will not be anywhere near a promotion spot come the end, but we must make sure that we are not at the other end of the table either ( I don't think we will be) but we do need to make this season a comfortable one at least, the last few seasons have been nightmares.

The problem is I reckon we can get in the play offs even with results like this today.

With a little more in midfield and a tidy cutting edge an automatic place isn’t beyond the realms of possibility, if they had won the Ipswich game and yesterday both of which should have been one they would have 29 points. Norwich are the current form team with 4wins on the bounce, Swansea are capable of that, they just need to be a bit more clinical.

I can't figure out this post.

So the players on the pitch are wonderful and a credit to the club and our shirt... yet you are complaining that they aren't being replaced with other players to the detriment and harm of our financial health?

I don't think those players would appreciate that view.

My question is why does there always have to be blame?

This is sport, teams lose. We will lose more games this season and will lose hundreds more in many of our lifetimes, why are people continuously surprised and outraged by the inevitable?

We played very well and got undone by 2 penalties.

That's life.

If we had played badly then fair enough, look for the problem.

The youngsters are doing a great job, Better than I for one could have predicted.

But you must have some experienced ones to help them along.
