They probably don't even realise the potential loss that the investment in us could bring. If the capital company are any good they would have a portfolio of investment and their money is probably spread across them all. If one or more is doing well then overall they are likely to be up.
If they make 10% in a year, it is more than the banks pay.
The individual case of the Swans means nothing to them. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the brokers have 'shorted' us too. | |

This, a million times over. To think any of the American investors have any interest in us as a football club except as a PR stunt if we do well, is ridiculous. We are just another asset to be managed and the investors pay Kaplan’s fund to manage all their assets with the fund. People need to grasp this. These guys have no ownership of the club any more than I own Barclays because I have a few shares (and they are a shit investment too). |  |
