Difficult for him though, playing in an unsettled back 4 without a senior partner. That’s where Cooper’s approach breaks down. Pair him next to someone like the Ash of old and he’d probably do a lot better (see how Caulker and Masson had the best seasons of their careers in our settled defences). |  | | |
