We have done all season without an out-and-out starting number nine and so we'll continue our work." What's the situation here then Gyokeres couldn't have been his choice, that's another dig at recruitment, 100% |
Doubt it’s a dig, a few weeks ago we were saying how good it had been Good number 9s don’t grow on trees and fewer available on loan this year Think we’d have been ok with Morris and Cullen looked to be getting up to pace of the league before the injury

| Luton Town v Swansea City : Matchday Thread Saturday TEAMS on 12:36 - Mar 13 by DJack | That's an idiotic comment there Chief as it is designed to stifle honest discussion on our team and manager. Yes Cooper has had some unfair criticisms but most of the complaints have been based upon legitimate concerns and were (are) worthy of crtique. Enjoy the game (hopefully) |
No it's not at all is it. Lack of rotation is one of the things that gets thrown at Cooper a lot. He's made several changes today. If we don't get a result, there will be people who'll find other things to criticise him for warranted or not. If anything my point provokes debate, not stifles it.

He played later than that. He played in the cup game when Julian dicks scored in the last minute.

Disagree. Recently this board has demonstrated a hard core of optimists/happy-clappers who berate anyone with a pertinent point that is in the form of a criticism. You just added to the demonisation of others.

The standard of football we generally employ these days however is atrocious. It's not a surprise that a player of Hourihane's class is looking lost half the time.

It looked a good side on paper, looked like it would show plenty of attacking intent, but Luton's movement and pace has been excellent and we've been up against it a lot of the time, moreso with us making school boy errors.
| Luton Town v Swansea City : Matchday Thread Saturday TEAMS on 13:15 - Mar 13 with 870 views | swancity | Very difficult conditions today with wind swirling and gusting to 50mph making it hard for our defence and keeper with Woodman looking shaky today. Well taken goal from us though has given us a good chance against a big quick powerful Luton side who are playing well. | |

Perhaps you need to message SoberBaker for humour tips. Going back to your post was there a pertinent point or were you making a disposable comment for someone to seize on so you could claim your point was in relation to something else as you gave little/no context.

The conditions are just as difficult for them mind. Hopefully moreso in the 2nd half if wind is gusting their end like it was for us, in first half, they'll probably keep doing what they've been doing though and keeping the ball on the floor and pass it with pace and keep up their good movement. Not simply brave, but very clever in so many ways. Some say CH should not OF being playing. Not a clue. We're a different proposition with Bennett bossing. Our best spine is restored and balanced (FW - RB - MG - CH-AA). Our previously woeful distribution from the back speaks volumes. Grimes doesn't have to sit so deep to protect and cajole. Let's hope our clever selection, ongoing rotation and unrivalled spirit and self confidence continues to prevail. And keep the ignorant doom merchants in their place, behind their sofas, with their eyes wide shut.

How is second best promotion? First or second, they're both promotion. Second best is play offs surely? There again second best in individual games is a different animal. We have been second best for most of the last 4 games but we got away with it.
