| Swansea City v Wayne Rooney’s Derby County : Matchday Thread 21/22 21:18 - Apr 6 with 13530 views | NotLoyal | It’s the Wayne Rooney thread with added thread and thread. The type of thread your old granny used to use to thread your socks. The Ref ! Tim Robinson will be the referee when Swansea City host Derby County at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday (3pm). The West Sussex official will be taking charge of a Swans game for the second time this season — having overseen the home win over Blackburn in February - and just the fourth time in total. He previously had the whistle for the away win at Reading during the 2018-19 season, and the defeat at Fulham the following campaign. Robinson will be assisted by Andrew Fox and Nigel Lugg, while Sam Allison will be the fourth official. Robinson has taken charge of 30 games in all competitions this season, dishing out 132 yellow cards 🟨 and six reds 🟥 including the one issued to Ryan Manning in that meeting with Blackburn. 132 yellows in 30 games ! Look out ! Wayne Rooney looks ahead to Swansea City v Derby County 8th Apr 2022 10:16Derby boss Wayne Rooney really couldn’t have done anything more to get his side in to a position where they had half a chance of staying in the championship this season. The loss of twenty one points for administration issues and financial breaches have been the catalyst for what is fast looking like relegation. 0 Job Done ðŸ‘

He's done absolutely nothing again, shocking player, if he's still here in summer

But he has won the ball back for us more than any other player with his closing down.

Got to be disheartening for the youngsters on the bench that they're not even getting 10 minutes in games that mean very little beyond preparation for next season. Joseph cost us half a million and he's there to wind down the clock in injury time. Wolf MotM, didn't stop working. Unlucky not to score. Still not sure if he's right or left-footed. Fisher had a shocking game, only one footballing keeper on the pitch and he wasn't it. Piroe won't be with us next season. Derby are alright for a team full of teenagers, but showed no more than we could have expected given their away form this season. Game should have been done after 20 minutes.

True, fair play, heart of gold. If only we'd utilised his unique talents sooner. Been patiently champing at the bit for far too long. Testament to his stoic professionalism. Would still have preferred to see Joseph get some meaningful minutes 2nd half.

70 points won't be enough to squeak into 6th this season, unfortunately. And we've still got to play 2nd and 3rd. No reason we shouldn't win the next two games though. And QPR seem to have completely downed tools long before the final day.

Play offs is on, next few games very winnable. There is always one team that goes on a 7/8 winning match towards the end. Maybe this is us.

| Swansea City v Wayne Rooney’s Derby County : Matchday Thread 21/22 on 17:45 - Apr 9 with 1135 views | krunchykarrot | Just got in, we were cruising then mistakes created doubt. Our GK had a nervous 90 and as for Pato he was way off the pace strolling into Wolfy's channel nearly all the first half. Wolf has all the ability to become a good player but his indecisiveness has him running into defenders often or not but he played really well. Piroe and Wolf can count themselves unlucky today as my MOM was Kyle simply a masterclass in positioning and defending. | | | |
| Swansea City v Wayne Rooney’s Derby County : Matchday Thread 21/22 on 17:46 - Apr 9 with 1126 views | Dr_Winston | Looked a bit leggy today which you'd maybe expect after three games in eight days. Not quite as sharp moving the ball as we have been. Still we took our chances and deserved the win overall. | |

| Swansea City v Wayne Rooney’s Derby County : Matchday Thread 21/22 on 17:49 - Apr 9 with 1117 views | krunchykarrot | Meant to say how i was impressed with Rooney's team and tactics, they were looking at a hammering but the way he changed Derby set up pushing Wolf back was impressive. As for the earlier view about our midfield we missed Downes big time carrying through middle. | | | |
| Swansea City v Wayne Rooney’s Derby County : Matchday Thread 21/22 on 17:55 - Apr 9 with 1095 views | magicdaps10 | We made hard work of that but got 3 points. When the ref takes centre stage then it kills the game, absolutely shocking performance from him. | |

I thought he done OK going forward but had a tough time defensively. We really missed Downes in the middle of the park, Fulton done well but we missed the Downes drive. I think Christie had a shocker today, Fisher hesitant for the penalty and Obafemi just didn't seem at the races today.

| Swansea City v Wayne Rooney’s Derby County : Matchday Thread 21/22 on 18:30 - Apr 9 with 963 views | LittleEnglandJack | Missed the game today, just watched the highlights. How on earth did their keeper not get sent off for the 'challenge' on Paterson? It's such a ridiculous decision It's almost comical. Feels like the refs in this league are in a competition to see who can get away with the most nonsensical decision against us. And nearly a calendar year without a pen. | | | |

Suffering from the season where we used to seem to get a pen at least once a month.
