I feel like I'm watching the Reading game again.
Near identical shirts, identical scoreline, & getting beat in the midfield yet again. When they gain possession the only way they lose it is through a poor pass or a poor shot at goal. We can't get it back off them!
We must target Allen to get them down to 10. Otherwise, I can see them scoring at least one more goal.

Boys are lacking in bottle here I’m afraid to say, Exact same path as Reading is being followed, no control and no turning of the screw when the oppo is on the ropes, very disappointing stuff.
Our midfield is almost afraid of making a forward pass and is taking the safe option all the time, in fact every ball seems to be square or backwards when a better option is on.
We look mentally weak.
Cooper needs to make changes or lay down the law, Boston and Ayew are being completely wasted , living on scraps and getting more and more frustrated.

Now I see what people mean when they criticise our lack of speed. We make a decent break, but then slow up in the final third and wither pass backward, or don't pass at all.
I'd like to see Cooper be brave and bring on Garrick very early in the second half. I would've said a double substitution, but with Naughton gone it hurts our tactical side of the game. | |
