I disagree with that Wales doesn't vote Tory, years ago or now.

How can you disagree with something that's a fact?

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

More people voted tory than Plaid Cymru at the Sened, that is a fact.

For the general election, people were more interested, the turnout was over 16% higher and more people voted for Bojo there than voted for Drakeford in the Senedd vote. I think 440,000 voyed Labour in the Senedd but over 557,000 voted Tory in the GE.

It ot nly shows there is less interest in the Senedd with over half of the Welsh electorate not bothering but then, when so many vote tory in the GE does it show they think the Senedd doesn't matter? If all those tory voters turned out for a Senedd election what might happen?
I'd like to know how many voted for Bojo and Drakeford. Either way Plaid Cymru are an irrelevance who are only having any say because it gives drakeford his majority, the third placed party having a say in power, the tail wagging the dog.

They are not irrelevant in some areas. Around Caernarfon ,they are very much relevant mainly as they are the beacon for anti English hatred ,the poisonous xenophobia of a backward people ,who bite the hand that feeds .

In Swansea and Cardiff ,utterly irrelevant as is the language . Most concerned over more important matters ,like living .

Wales never votes Tory.

Thats over 100 years.

You are still wrong 36% Voted Conservative which is far more than voted PC the party that wants Welsh Independence.

Still not sure what this has to do with the RMT strike though which is getting more unpopular with the public. Other unions in the Railway industry have already settled for less than the RMT is asking for.

Really not a very pleasant thing to say, I have voted for Plaid myself and dont believe i encompass any of the things you've said.
Either way, think the thread has gone off topic again.

Junior doctors are now poised to strike too, full support them, but what a mess it is becoming.

Everyone deserves a rise but if everyone gets what they are asking for inflation would soar to a higher level, making the increase disappear. Repeat every year or reach a compromise now.

Well the Government needs to learn to negotiate then. Unions, like good salesmen always ask for more than what they want.

If the nursing strike isn’t sorted soon the Doctors strike will be far more messy.

At least the government accepted the ‘independent’ pay body review recommendation for nurses, something they couldn’t bring themselves to do for the doctors.

I’m starting to think this administration is on some kind of scorched earth policy before they’re booted out for a long long time.

So what would you say was a fair settlement percentage wise leaving out strings and attachments.

But they are not salesmen & they are playing with peoples lives.

What is the point in stating they want a 19% pay rise when everyone knows its unrealistic.

All those calling for these large pay rises for nurses you happy to see your tax go up by at least an additional 2% so they get an over inflation pay rise?

How much did Truss waste on her few days in office

How much fraud is going on in NHS, Tax etc which this government has promised to crack down on.

Put up tax again on say those earning 250k plus a year

How about those that would cover the 19% easy 👍

As Mick Lynch stated " it's not high wage demands that have driven up inflation, because wages haven't kept up with inflation."

Do you honestly think that emergency workers enjoy going on strike?

We do care about the public, that's why we do the jobs we do, we are at the end of our tethers with this government, all we want is fair pay, we do not want an extortionate amount, just a decent offer with no strings attached, we got offered 5% but it wasn't funded by the government, it would mean cut backs, how would anyone vote for cutbacks and I suspect most services offers include 'strings attached' that's why there are alot going on strike, we are fighting not just for fairer pay but for a better service for the public, you don't get told that from the mainstream media.

Not sure where I wrote anything emergency workers enjoying striking.

There is loads of waste in the NHS & it needs to be sorted, the country cannot afford ridiculous pay rises for the public sector.

Not sure what waste is in the NHS
I think most right thinking people would happily pay extra tax if they knew the NHS was able to give the treatment we all want and need

The country can't afford prime minister's in office 40 odd days wasting millions if not billions but somehow you Tory voters think that's ok
